The mosque is located in the center of Urmetan village, near the mausoleum of a well-known theologian and scholar of hadith. Since the 11th century, the mosque has been reconstructed several times. The last reconstruction took place in the 17th century. The mosque features remarkable secco wall paintings and wood carvings. The monument dates back to the 11th century.
