HAZRATI SHOH ARCHITECTURAL ENSEMBLE

   The ensemble is situated in the center of Chorkuh village and consists of a mausoleum and a mosque. The site is unique with its wooden roof, which illustrates the signs of pre-Islamic carving, eary Islamic Kufy calligraphy, and Aryan zoomorphic drawings. According to the researches, the elements of the wooden roof belong to X-XI centuries and consider the oldest of their type in Central Asia.
